Sanja Filipović, PhD, is a scientific advisor at the Institute of Social Sciences and a full professor at Singidunum University. She holds a PhD from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade in the field of sustainable development, and developed a field of further specialisation in the field of green economy and economic transition. She has published papers in the mentioned field in the world‘s most prestigious scientific journals, and is one of the most cited domestic economists.
In addition to scientific work, she participated in the development and management of over 80 projects, many of which were made for the needs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and are of strategic national importance. In addition, she has been engaged as a consultant on numerous projects commissioned by international institutions and organisations (GIZ, OECD, EC, etc.). Areas of her professional engagement include the strategic level of action through the definition of public policies, (macro) economic analysis and the transformation of the economy in the context of modern trends.
Since 2008, he has been working as a university professor where he teaches at all three levels of academic studies in the following subjects: Economics, Advanced Macroeconomics, International Finance, International Economics, Contemporary Trends in the Global Economy, etc. In the period 2002-2020, she was employed at the Institute of Economics, at the Center for Macroeconomic Research, and since 2008 she has been a project manager.
She has published over 100 scientific papers and 7 monographs. She has participated in numerous domestic and international scientific and professional conferences, gatherings, round tables and panels, as a speaker and moderator.
He speaks English and has a basic knowledge of Russian.
